Day Two CLEAN

Day two of the CLEAN Program went well.  At least everything up to the time I ate the garlic. The fam says I smell.  I don't see it that way, but my mouth is pretty uncomfortable.  Toothpaste didn't do a thing.  And I still have that two tablespoons of olive oil to choke down.  But before that, things were good.

My morning smoothie went down easy, as it was not a new flavor this time.  I embraced the algae and enjoyed it. I was REALLY hungry for lunch, but wanted to wait as long as possible before eating, as I knew the afternoon was likely to be even worse.  But it wasn't.  I went to yoga at 6:30, so I had my dinner smoothie beforehand.  I am not usually hungry after yoga, so things are good this evening.  I am missing my Americone Dream a little, and my wine, but the garlic takes all desire to eat anything else away.  Lucky me.

I scheduled my massage for Thursday, and I am pretty excited about that.  I have a fabulous person giving me my massage, so I am looking forward to getting three over the next three weeks.  I'll let you know how good it was.

Did you get some exercise into your day today?

Be well.

  1. I haven't checked in here in awhile. I'll be curiously following your CLEAN journey. What made you select that program? I think I'd see some real benefits if I'd just commit to eating foods off of the Elimination diet...

  2. Jenny, I had a recommendation from a friend, and when I read the book, it sounded solid. I am sure just following the elimination diet would be significant. I did that (mostly) for 9 days ahead of time to get myself ready. Then I just felt the need to go to the next level, push through some discomfort and see what happens. Let me know if you make any changes, it feels good to try something new!
