It is so very sad, but my little one did learn how to tell time waiting for that bus. And yes, we have 2 homeschool groups, and we meet up with each of them, but it is that daily, extended time that I am thinking about. It's more for the 9 year old, the younger one doesn't seem to need it yet. It is something I need to work on. And I want to make it easier for him to be in control of who gets to see, rather than me deciding. Tricky stuff. If so, see what you can do to plan/coordinate activities. That's helped us satisfy some of our need for interaction.
